Founded in Tirana in 2016, UTDS Optimal Choice is a team of digital designers and strategists.
Started by Richard and Marsel as a small web design agency, our team now encompasses a wide range of creative and special individuals that each bring their unique touch to enable UTDS to be unique.
Richard & Marsel join to build website for a mutual client…
Richard & Marsel decide to create UTDS Optimal Choice…Marsel hates the name……they still argue over it….Richard still wont explain why he wants to keep it.
Team grows and we widen the services we offer to clients
With a team of 15 we are able to offer a range of services to clients in three continents and with many languages covered at native level
We become a Google Partner now managing annual ad spends of over 3 million pounds (approx. 4 million US dollars)

Born in Glasgow, live in Tirana…..he has spent over 15 years involved in digital media. Having worked on various projects with brands such as BT, Yell, Scottish Power, Iberola Group, Verstar, Utility Exchange, Trendzer, Local Web, IDS and many more big brands he brings a broad and deep experience in digital to the our clients.
When he isn’t taking a hands on approach to the day to day of the business, Richard can be found in one of Tirana’s many restaurants working on his “food critic” column (which he promises will “launch soon”)
Hailing from Albania, Marsel studied in Italy before returning to Albania. He has worked with major international brands including Apple, Coca-Cola and Ford. Spending 50% of time in Lisbon and 50% in Albania, he brings a creative flair that is unique and inspiring.
His beard is something he is very proud of and will happily spend time explaining the grooming process. Another favourite topic is discussing his never-ending VW camper van project.
We aim to be big enough to deliver and small enough to be personal.
